Summary

This consultation ran from January to April 2017. BEIS aimed to build an industrial strategy that addressed long-term challenges to the UK economy. BEIS’ aim was to improve living standards and economic growth by increasing productivity and driving growth across the whole country.

BEIS sought to attain views on its approach to building a modern industrial strategy, which aimed to deliver an economy that worked for everyone.
